January 2023 - Quarterly Newsletter
From Halloween to Christmas, from a field trip to Santa Dash, from English classes to art classes, this quarterly Newsletter covers it all. We have had a busy time in Seeds since September and we want to share it all with you! Thank you to all our volunteers, to our sponsors and donors and our local volunteers. We are extremely proud to announced that our fundraising total for Santa Dash 2022 was $3,189.77! With just over half of this amount coming from Paul Bartholomew!

September 2022 - Quarterly Newsletter
Our volunteers are rolling back in following a pause from the pandemic, and Seeds is so grateful to have them. Our main focus has been catching the students up with what they may have missed during the pandemic, with mathematics being the most common problem. Our volunteers have also been making the most of the busiest season by hiking and camping across the region and teaching about nutrition and healthy living - in the form of Friday football matches!

January 2022 - Quarterly NewsletterThat's right, the Santa Dash came back this year with a bang! As vaccinations rolled out more efficiently in Peru and covid restrictions lessen, kids were able to participate this year in Seeds of Hope's annual 5K Santa Dash Run on December 18th, 2021!
The final figure raised for Santa Dash this year, after PayPal and Omprakash fees, was: $2189.05! |

School Supply Drive 2021 / Covid Relief
To give the kids at Seeds of Hope the same opportunities as their peers and enough supplies to complete another year in education, our kids need a set of stationery. This will include notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, rubbers, rulers, glue and anything else they need to inspire and enable learning. |
2020 Santa Dash - COVID edition
Hi everyone! We hope you are staying safe and healthy and that your family is well!
Covid-19 has taken its toll on everyone, no exceptions. However, some countries have been impacted more than others. Our friends at Seeds are unfortunately part of those who have felt the effects of quarantine measures more intensely.
Since March 2020, Seeds has had to close its doors, as Peru closed its borders to travelers and extranjeros went back home. As such, usual funding has been scarce. Our emergency relief fund from earlier this year was a great help, but the kids at Seeds still need your help! Read the newsletter to learn more...

February 2020 - Seeds Updates
Throughout February and March we accepted donations to our school supply fund! The schools in Peru do not offer any supplies, which means that those children that don't have the required stationery cannot join the activity.
One weekend in January, as part of our summer program, seeds took the older youth and local/international volunteers backpacking! We hiked to lake Shallap early so we could enjoy the day spent at camp. We played futbol, frisbee and card games, took in the views and ended with a fire pit! |

2019 santa dash
On December 14th, Seeds of Hope is hosting the 7th annual Santa Dash. This fun run in the Huaraz region aims to raise money for our 2020 nutrition program. This program was designed to help our students fight malnutrition by adding protein rich food to their daily snack at Seeds. Our goal for this year is $2,550!

September 2019 - Teaching the next generation
Our summer holiday classes were a great success! At Seeds, we emphasize teambuilding and hands-on learning. During our one week holiday break, students and volunteers had the opportunity to work as a team, guiding their blindfolded partners to complete an activity. For our science lesson, our students and volunteers worked together to build vessels to protect an egg from the long drop from the roof. ¡Que divertido!

June 2019 - Blogs, teddies and securing our future
March 2019 - Back to SchoolThe summer holidays are over, and after two months off the children at Seeds of Hope are ready to start another year. Thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to inspire and enable learning by giving each child enough stationery supplies to complete another year in education.

December 2018 - We've Moved!During our Christmas vacation we also said goodbye to our little school house and moved our school into the same complex as our volunteer accommodation. The location is closer to a lot of our students' schools and the views are simply breathtaking. We also have the beautiful
