Further Education Sponsorship Program
As our secondary students graduate from high school, the decision to continue on to further education often depends solely on their family’s financial situation and not on their ability to succeed.
Many of our students’ parents never received a complete education let alone continued on to tertiary education or learnt a trade. Seeds of Hope would like to continue to support our secondary students, once they complete their high school education, by encouraging them to pursue further education be it Academia, Technical College or University. To do this we have established a fund – The Further Education Sponsorship Fund. We are calling on people to become sponsors of this fund for only $150 per year. This small amount will go a long way in assisting us to support these students. Funds raised will help students in paying their matriculation and school fees, as well as purchase any support materials needed for their course of study. These graduated secondary students are welcome to continue to come to Seeds of Hope and use our space for studying, as well as access resources such as computers and stationery. Often our graduated students also become valuable tutors for our Primary and Secondary students and assist with the organisation and supervision on our field trips and other events. Being able to provide them with a small wage for their commitment would also be made possible through this sponsorship fund. |
How to Sponsor
Please contact us and let us know you are interested. We will then assist you with how to make your payment. At the beginning of each new academic year, sponsors will receive a letter from us highlighting who our current crop of high school graduates are and what courses they are studying. We will also send out a Christmas message/end of year update on how these students are tracking with their studies and share any other significant news with you. If you are a U.S. citizen, your donation will be tax-deductible. |
Knowing someone is looking out for their educational future further motivates our students
to study and to get excited about the prospect of a professional future!
